As a Project Manager / Design Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for the following tasks:
- You are responsible for the development and design of thermal processing systems for the steel industry
- You are responsible for the support of projects, from project handover to design using 3D CAD INVENTOR and VAULT
- Supporting commissioning for our international customers
- Realise the request of our customer’s requirements and are able to find and implement complex technical solutions
- Coordinating all necessary processes to ensure successful project completion
What you bring:

- Completed university degree in mechanical engineering or a successfully completed technical advanced training
- Good knowledge of physics, thermodynamics, and control engineering
- Ideally, you have experience with the design programs 3D CAD INVENTOR and VAULT
- You are proficient in common MS Office applications
- You are a good communicator fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Valid driver’s license class B
- You hold a valid class B driver’s license.
- A willingness to travel worldwide is a prerequisite for this position.
- You keep a cool head even in stressful situations, can prioritize, and support your colleagues wherever you can
- You are a highly organized and analytical problem solver and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Your logical thinking helps you solve problems efficiently.
- You have a keen understanding of what is practical and achievable, and you consistently meet deadlines and stay within budget.
