INTOCAST AG is one of the world’s leading specialists in refractory products for the international steel industry. What makes the company unique: The medium-sized group consists of more than 30 different companies globally, each with highly specialized expertise in their field.

Following the re-launch of the global brand presence last year, an image film has been produced – among other initiatives, to celebrate the market entry into the USA.

For this purpose, the company from Ratingen once again breaks with conventional business-to-business communication and instead chooses a very human approach with a good dose of humor and self-irony.

Instead of setting the scene with self-reference about size, capacities, and the history of the company, INTOCAST focuses on the attitude and unmatched expertise of its own employees – while also acknowledging areas where they may fall short despite their enthusiasm.

The message: We can’t do everything. But in what we do, we are the absolute experts.

Fun Fact: The people featured in the film are real employees, revealing their actual personal weakness.

INTOCAST CEO Matthias Normann commissioned the freelance duo Bastian Kühl (strategy and consulting) and Mathias Stiller (ECD) to develop the humorous film, with production by Angry Buddha Films, director Alan Rexroth, and DOP Kolja Brandt.

The film will be used in various formats worldwide, targeting decision-makers through tailored channels.
